Weight Bar

BODYPUMP

Developed by Les Mills, it is a one-hour full body strength work out using a barbell and free weights. Works on all the major muscle groups, through scientific based moves and techniques, choreographed to some great music to motivate you and keep it fun!

 The program is based on the REP EFFECT – a high number of repetitions with light to moderate weight to develop lean, athletic muscle without building bulk. The movements are restricted to the most effective range of motion (and not the maximum range) in order to reduce chances of injury and ensure safety. 

 BENEFITS – Burn calories, boost metabolism, Shape and tone your body, Increase core strength and improve bone health. 

RPM

RPM is a Les Mills developed group indoor cycling workout - fun, low impact and high calorie burn. A cardio workout focussed on the core and lower body. In an RPM workout you repeatedly work through simulated sprints and climbs to reach your cardio peak then ease back down, thereby boosting your cardio fitness.

You draw on the group’s energy and find your rhythm in the music. You control your own resistance levels and speed so you can build up your fitness level over time. 

BENEFITS - improve aerobic and cardio fitness with minimal impact on the joints, high calorie and fat burn.

YOGA

Improve your balance, strength and flexibility through postures, flowing sequences and breathing exercises. Yoga not only improves your physical health but also increases mindfulness and improves mental health thereby reducing stress and anxiety. 

PILATES

This method of exercise consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance. Regular Pilates sessions help strengthen the lower back and conditions the abdominal muscles.

ZUMBA

Zumba, Shabam and Bolly Aerobics are high energy and fun dance exercise classes - the difference in the three being in the genre of music. The most fun way to get fit and perfect your dance moves at the same time! 

CIRCUIT TRAINING

Similar to High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), circuit training involves endurance trainingresistance training, high-intensity aerobics, and exercises performed in a circuit. It targets strength building and muscular endurance. An exercise "circuit" is one completion of all set exercises in the program. When one circuit is complete, one begins the first exercise again for the next circuit. The time between exercises in circuit training is usually short, often with rapid movement to the next exercise.

STEP AEROBICS

A high intensity cardio workout to boost your mood and energy levels. The moves target your legs, upper body, and core, building strength and flexibility. They also improve your balance, coordination, and agility.
